Jackson’s Kin Fear Drugs Killed The Pop Star.

Pop King Michael Jackson’s sudden death on June 25, 2009 at his home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles shocked the world. Jackson’s demise at the age of 50 was blamed on prescribed antidepressant drug such as Zoloft, which has reportedly caused Zoloft withdrawal symptoms. When he died he was reported to have taken Demerol. Drug overdose led to his respiratory and cardiac arrest, according to medical experts.

It was inside his room that his personal physician Conrad Murray saw Jackson, who was not breathing anymore but had faint pulse. He says he administered CPR but failed to revive him. He failed to revive him when made a CPR on Jackson. Jackson died at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Several medical practitioners around world was curious about Jackson’s sudden death. The King of pop ran into the same fate as Elvis Presley, who died from a combination of antidepressant and a pain killer, as pointed out by International Coalition for Drug Awareness executive director Dr Ann Blake Tracy.

Dr.Tracy said on her website that Jackson lost his life due to the organ-stopping effect of serotonin syndrome.

Seretonin, which is a neurotransmitter found only in the brain, is derived from tryptophan, a dietary amino acid The responsibility of serotonin is mostly inhibitory, and it includes controlling of food intake, sleep and wakefulness, temperature regulation, pain control, sexual behaviour, and regulation of emotions Serotonin is used as a treatment for anxiety, mood disorders and schizophrenia.

Major organs of the body is composed of smooth muscle tissue that constricts and shutters down the major organs of the body when serotonin levels soar to heights, according to Dr. Tracy When serotonin is elevated, it cause death via multiple organ failure. The same say Daniel Smith, Anna Nicole Smith’s young son lost his life due to the combination of four serotonergic medications.

A report from Life & Style says that, aside from Zoloft and Demerol, Jackson had been taking other prescriptions, including anti-anxiety Xanax in recent months. The Jackson family lawyer Brian Oxmar told CNN that he “feared” that the drugs have caused the death of Michael Jackson as some of his associates had been quoted as saying that he was taking a cocktail of up to seven prescription drugs in the months before his death.
