Hemorrhoid Herbs

Some familiar herbs used to treat hemorrhoids are witch hazel, butcher’s broom and barberry. Butcher’s broom is good for general vein health and blood flow support. One to three 100-milligram tablets daily is beneficial.

Before using any of these herbal forms of hemorrhoid treatment, it is advised that you talk with your doctor, mainly if you suffer from other health issues, are pregnant, taking prescription drugs or breastfeeding. It is wise to adhere to the dosage instructions on the package. It is not advised that butcher’s broom be used if you are pregnant, nursing, on alpha blockers or MAO inhibitors. Put witch hazel directly on the hemorrhoids using a cotton ball. The natural properties found in this astringent aims to supply rest from the pain and minimize swelling. To avoid constipation, blend barberry root—it’s a liquid, with water; it also maintains role of the liver and gallbladder. Blend two milliliters with a little bit of water three times daily. Nursing mothers or pregnant women should not use this treatment.
